IWD Bouquet & Journaling Workshop (3/8/26)

How does your experience as a woman shape you? In what ways has it challenged you? Strengthened you? Are you grateful to be a woman?

Join us on International Women's Day to celebrate, connect, share, and create together.  This workshop is designed to provoke real conversations around experiences in womanhood, and connection through creativity.

The workshop starts with icebreaker activities, a guided journaling session, group sharing & conversation.  The second portion of the workshop is bouquet making using locally grown and curated blooms & botanicals, trivia on pivotal moments in Womenʻs History, photo ops, and free time to mingle and shop.

Time: 9:30am-11:30am 

Location: Kākou Collective,  98-027 Hekaha St Building 3, Unit #27, Aiea, HI 96701

Admission includes:

  • All materials, botanicals, and blooms to make your own bouquet
  • Guided instruction and 1-on-1 guidance in creating your bouquet, including paper-wrapping techniques
  • A 5x7" Saddle-Stitch Kākou Collective Journal to use during the workshop and take home after
  • Facilitated discussion
  • A safe and comfortable environment
  • Opportunity to connect with other wahine in the community and form long-lasting bonds

*While this workshop is designed for women, we do not exclude based on gender, sexuality, etc.  We aim to create a safe space for all our workshop attendees and community, and ask that any attendee conduct themselves with respect and care.

TERMS OF SERVICE
Cancellations
  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled workshop are eligible for store credit only.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop date are not eligible for refunds or store credit except in the event the spot can be filled from a waitlist, which then the original registrant with be eligible for store credit only.
Transfers
  • Registrations are non-transferable.
  • In limited cases, a transfer request may be reviewed if submitted in writing to aloha@palaihawaii.com at least 7 business days before the workshop. If approved, additional information may be required an a confirmation will be sent via email.
No-Shows
  • Participants who do not attend the workshop and have not canceled in accordance with the policy will be marked as no-shows.
  • No refunds or store credit will be issued for no-shows.

Chargebacks
By booking a workshop, you agree to these terms of service.  In the event of a payment dispute, this policy and the customer’s agreement will be submitted as evidence.
