All skill levels are welcome!  This workshop is most suitable for ages 12+, however we welcome all ages (children with adult supervision). 

Registration Includes:

• Group and one-on-one instruction in lei poʻo making (lei wili style), the cultural significance of lei making, and some food for thought
• All lei making materials are provided, including a variety of locally harvested flowers and greenery
  

Brunch service is available from PEWA during the workshop.  Items ordered during the service are a separate cost from the Lei Workshop.

We specialize in teaching a maiau (neat and meticulous) style of lei making, and are proud to remain true to our roots in sharing this traditionally-inspired style of lei making. 

In each of our workshops, we donʻt just teach you how to make a lei, we share context of lei making as a reciprocal practice, from growing, to harvesting, all the way to giving.  We ensure our workshop participants leave with a greater understanding of this cultural practice as a whole, as well as the skills and resources to continue its perpetuation beyond the workshop.
